What is Upcycling?
Upcycling is taking a material that would normally be considered waste and creating something new that has a greater value than the original material.
Why do I upcycle rather than recycle?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for recycling. I personally find upcycling very fulfilling. Not only do I keep items out of our landfills but I also get the opportunity to use my creativity to make something truelly special out of materials that began as something ordinary.
